Here's the story according to Rockin' 1000, the organization responsible for putting this together: "This is what happened on July 7th 2019 at Commerzbank-Arena, Frankfurt: 1000 musicians from all over the world working their ass off for months to celebrate this magnificent hymn to rebellion by Rage Against the Machine."
Rockin' 1000 has previously also done similar events where they played songs like "Learn To Fly" by Foo Fighters and "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana:
